Taking Notes
I really want to write more. And the most friction I’ve experienced is where to take the notes. I tried several apps. But none of them comforting me to use.
I tried Notion, it is good apps. But the problem is, it is too slow I think. And the many feature it has makes me confuse and don’t know what to do. Because it has too many distractions, too many things to do to start writing.
I also tried google keeps. And the problem with this is that the google keep need to open the browser. But it is good to use in phone.
And I find obsidian. It is simple, just open the app and start writing. It is very good. And I am starting to love using markdown. I think it is a genius invention. Why I don’t find it earlier. Because, the first time I know markdown is when I start to use Jupyter Notebook. It also use markdown to taking notes. And the result is beautiful. But I never try to find more about it to use it in daily notes. I thought it is only made for jupyter notebook.
Also I think I have heard Obsidian apps by some productivity content creator, that says it is good for taking notes. But I don’t need any other taking notes app. Because I already found what I need that is Notion. So I bother to find out more about this Notion app.
Then I am get along with this apps because I found a blog, which is markdown based such as Hugo. And I build my website with this framework, it is simple and fast. So, I want to try to taking notes in the markdown format. So, I can easily upload my blog post. And I want to create my workflow with it. There I found Obsidian.
So this is me. Trying a new habit, writing. Which from long time ago I really want to do. And I hope this workflow will embrace me to write more.
Why bother writing? Haha, now you asking.
Come on guys, writing is the most important skills.
